LED and Display Light Measurement
The recognised benchmark for high precision spectral measurement of weak light sources and high radiance.
Overview
The CAS 140D is the latest high end array spectrometer from Instrument Systems and is regarded as the benchmark for high precision spectroradiometry of both weak light sources and high radiance sources. It is based on the proven Crossed-Czerny-Turner spectrograph with a cooled CCD detector, and offers the highest measurement accuracy and stray light suppression, strong reproducibility and stability, and very short integration times.
Applications range from a standard instrument in national calibration laboratories to 24/7 measurement in production. All Instrument Systems spectrometers carry calibration traceable to PTB and NIST. Combined with a wide accessory range the spectrometer can be built into a complete system for many spectroradiometric and photometric tasks.
An optional stray light correction matrix applied during calibration further reduces the already excellent stray light figure, which makes the instrument suitable for accurate UV-LED measurement and for determining the photobiological safety risk group of LED sources.
